Professional and amateur photographers can now attend private workshops in a beautiful home in the Hudson Valley near Kingston, NY. Each session will focus on the individual needs of the participant which will be discussed in advance.
We will work in a private studio space with magnetic walls to edit images and there are two computer systems with an Epson printer and scanner.
The Workshop is designed to:
•Develop story skills
•Deepen your relationship with yourself and photography
•Help examine your project relationships and goals
•Gain confidence with your camera
•Make stronger image and editing choices
In addition to expert evaluation and review and a lovely private home setting, participants will be encouraged to write and take time to be in the surrounding forest.

She has worked in Haiti, Afghanistan, The DRC, Cuba and Northern Ireland working for organizations such as Amnesty International, V-Day (the movement to stop violence against women and girls) and International Medical Corps. She has exhibited, published books and lectured based on her long-term documentary projects such as: the women of Calama, Chile who searched the desert for 17 years for their loved ones disappeared after the 1973 coup and the building of the City of Joy in Bukavu, DRC for women survivors of sexual violence.
